Study on the amoxillin-tylosin tartrate compound against Streptococcos suis in mice

To evaluate the pharmacodynamics of amoxillin-tylosintartrate against Streptococcus suis in Kunming mice.Kunming mice were infected by intraperitoneal injection with 1 mL of Streptococcus suis isolated.LD50 was 9.61×108 cfu·mL-1 by Reed-Muench method.The mice were given by amoxillin,tylosin tartrate and amoxillin-tylosin tartrate compound respectively.The results showed that amoxillin-tylosin-tartrate was better than amoxilin,the survival rate was 80%.
