ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL RESTORASI GAMBUT BERBASIS KEHUTANAN DI KELURAHAN KEDATON KECAMATAN KAYUAGUNG KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR

The objectives of the study are: 1) to analyze the financial feasibility of the implementation Forestry-Based Peatland Restoration In Kedaton Village, Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, 2) to measure the perception of assisted farmers in Kedaton Village on the implementation of forestry-based peatland restoration. The data was carried out in June 2020 at Kedaton, Kayuagung, Ogan Komering Ilir, South Sumatera. The results of this study indicate that the forestry-based peatland restoration in Kedaton, Kayuagung Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir is feasible and make a profit. NPV obtained IDR 485.229.123,52,- for 3 hectare scale, IRR 25%, Net B/C Ratio 61 and Payback Period for less than a year. Sensitivity analysis with a scenario of 150% increase in production cost and seeds, 50% decrease in number of production as a tolerance limit the forestry-based peatland restoration in Kedaton Village, Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The obstacles in implementing forestry-based peatland restoration in Kelurahan Kedaton OKI are a) there is still a lack of public awareness in carrying out the restoration and preservation of the peat ecosystem and insufficient knowledge b) the community has not been able to implement this forestry-based peat restoration independently in implementing it, so that the role of direct counseling and guidance from BRG and the Research and Development Center for Research and Innovation in Palembang is still needed. The perceptions of assisted farmers in Kedaton Village, Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency showed that the community was willing to participate in restoring the peatland ecosystem and willing to managed their land using forestry-based peat restoration methods if there was an assistance and assistance from the government. This is based on the environmental benefits that are found to be enormous for themselves and other living things.
