Pigeon Breeder's Lung

Two patients, both wives of pigeon hobbyists, manifested the subacute clinical form of pigeon breeder’s lung. The pathologic features observed in lung biopsies of both patients were correlated with pulmonary function tests. These cases illustrate that severe respiratory impairment due to pigeon breeder’s lung can develop in persons who are indirectly exposed to avian antigens.
