XBRL LANGUAGE: A CASE STUDY OF TAXONOMY DEFINITION AND SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION OF DATA MEDICCAL PROCEDURES TRANSFER FROM CLINICS HOSPITAL OF UFPE FOR SUS

Created to facilitate the exchange of accounting and financial data, language XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) is still little used in Brazil because the Brazilian jurisdiction that defines the adoption of this language has not been fully implemented. The aim of this article was to show the benefits and impacts of this technology in the area of Health was conducted a case study of the taxonomy definition and development of a software adopting XBRL standards at the Hospital of the Federal University of Pernambuco (HC / UFPE ). The software generates information from the monthly report of the previous billing authorizations for hospitalization (AIH) of services provided by the HC / UFPE for the Unified Health System (SUS). Before this report were done by employees in a rudimentary way with the use of spreadsheets and other technological resources elementary. In this study, are defined and analyzed the requirements for software design, operation and results, which show the importance of the use of XBRL technology by organizations. We described the stages of study and development of software, from the taxonomy and instances defined. Finally, it was shown an example of operation of the HC program, whose results were satisfactory, and the application is being perfected and documented to be available to other hospitals in the Health SUS.
