Akkaraman, Hampshire DownxAkkaraman(Fl), CorriedalexAkkaraman (Fİ) kuzularda Yaşama Gücü ve Büyüme Özelliklerinin Araştırılmas

This research has been conducted to investigate the grouoth, survival ability of Akkaraman and Hampshire Douon x Akkaraman(Fl), Corriedale x Akkaraman(Fl) lambs and fertility characteristics of Akkaraman sheep under semi-intensive conditions.The sheep uoere fed on pasture and concentrated feed before and during mating. During suckling period lambs uoere fed uoith milk, strauo and concentrated feed, adlibutum.In the research data uoere obtained from 22 Akkaraman, 12 HampshirexAkkaraman(Fl) and 16 CorriedalexAkkaraman(Fl) crossbreed lambs for grouoth and survival rate and 61 Akkaraman sheep for fertility chracteristics.The effects of the genotype on birth and uoeaning uoeights were found insignificant uohile uoere significant on 45 and 60 days of grouoth (p<0.001 and p<0.01, respectively). Effect of sex uoas found insignificant for the uohole period. The effect of birth type uoas significant on birth, 30, 45, 60 and 75 days of grouoth (p<0.001 and p<0.01 respectively), but uoas not significant in 15 and 90 days of growth.For Akkaraman, HampshireDouonxAkkaraman (FI)and CorriedalexAkkaraman (FI) crossbreed lambs, birth iveight averaged 3.17, 3.61 and 3.63 kg; uoeaning uoeight (90 days of age) 20.50, 24.41 and 19.62 kg; daily live uveight gain from birth to 90 days of age, 193, 231 and 178 g; and survival rate 100, 100 and 80 % respectively. Akkaraman sheep have been mated uoith three differentgenotype rams (Akkaraman, Hampshire Down, Corriedale). According to ram groups, in the euoes, the estrus rate uoas 100, 100 and 100%; pregnancy rate uoas 91.30, 63.16 and 84.21%; average number of lambs per gestation uoas 1.05, 1.00 and 1.33, respectively.
