CONCEPT OF SELF-ASSEMBLY OF SPACE STRUCTURE SYSTEMS USING AUTONOMOUS MODULES

A concept of self-assembly using autonomous modules to construct future space structure systems is proposed, which includes a stochastic relaxation process for deadlock avoidance. Through computer simulations, considerable reduction in assembly time is shown, and avoidance of deadlock is also clearly demonstrated.
