The invention discloses a test method and a device. One embodiment of the method comprises the steps of obtaining a recorded information sequence, wherein each piece of recorded information in the recorded information sequence comprises click position coordinates and click time corresponding to a first click operation in a first click operation sequence of a to-be-tested application and region pixel reference values of a display region contained in the to-be-tested application; exerting a second click operation sequentially on the to-be-tested application according to the recorded information sequence, obtaining region pixel reference values corresponding to the second click operation; and based on the comparison of region pixel reference values corresponding to the second click operation and the region pixel reference values corresponding to the corresponding first click operation in the recorded information sequence, determining whether the to-be-tested application passes the test. According to the test method, whether changes of a to-be-tested application interface are correct is automatically judged, so as to be favorable for more efficient application testing.
