The comparison between active and traditional teaching method in science course achievement and the extent of third grader guidance school students creativity in karaj in 1386-87

The main purpose of this study is to compare active and traditional teaching methods among the third grader guidance school students in karaj. The methodology was retrospective(causal comparative) research. The method of collecting data was observing term grades, final grades in science course, checklist of the teachers teaching method and abedis test of creativity. The sample size, using random cluster sampling was 12 classes (6 active, 6 traditional). The data were analyzed using independent(t-test), pearson correlation and point biserial correlation.
