Polyester fiber degradation method

The invention discloses a polyester fiber degradation method. The method comprises that 1, under the action of microwave, polyester fibers undergo a decoloration reaction in a polar solvent to produce decolored polyester fibers, 2, under the action of infrared ray, the decolored polyester fibers, water and acetate are mixed and then are heated to form a mixture, and 3, under the action of infrared ray and microwave, the mixture undergoes a degradation reaction to produce a degradation product. The polyester fiber degradation method can degrade polyester fibers under mild conditions and has high degradation efficiency.
