Successful intravenous streptokinase treatment of a child with Kawasaki disease complicated by acute myocardial infarction

1995
A 9-year-old boy developed ischemic cardiac symptoms 1 year after he presented with Kawasaki disease. The myocardial infarction was confirmed by the typical changes of electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, cardiac enzymes, thallium myocardial scintigrams, and angiograms. With successful intravenous streptokinase therapy, he remained well during the following 4 months. © 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
