Preliminary studies on diversity of amphibian in Bamian Mountain of Hunan province

From June to August in the year 2001, this paper researched the diversity of amphibians in Bamian Mountain, which is the seventh highest mountain in Hunan Province and the first highest in Huaihua City. the results shows: the species of amphibian communities in Bamian Mountain are very abundant, and there are a total of 7 families? 12 genunes and 21 species; the diversities of the communities are changable due to the different habitat and elevation, and the rivulet model have the largest number of diversities while the static water model have the least, and also the diversities are significant negative correlation with the height of the elevation, the communities of amphibian in different elevations can be divided into two perpendicular regions according to the similar cofficient.
