Analysis of the Effect of the General Factors on Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Retinopathy

Objective To understand the DR risk factors,prevention and intervention in the DR to provide a scientific basis and reduce the incidence of DR to improve the quality of life of patients with DM.Methods September 2004 to March 2007 in Endocrinology of the second Baoding Eye Hospital and the out-patient and hospitalization of patients with T2DM as a research,the general information of type 2 diabetes(T2DM) in patients with diabetic retinopathy(DR) and non-diabetic retinopathy(NDR) were analyzed.Results The difference of sex,age composition of was not significant between DR and NDR group;education,occupation,sources(urban/rural) ,per capita monthly family income had a significant difference.Conclusion The study shows that(1) education,employment structure,the average household monthly income,diabetes disease and diabetic retinopathy is most closely connected;(2) It still can not fully confirm the age and gender-related and diabetic retinopathy.
