Subcutaneous emphysema. A rare complication of colorectal colonoscopy

: The Authors describe a case of subcutaneous emphysema following rectosigmoidoscopy in a 72 year old woman. Guidelines of preliminary conservative treatment and eventually careful surgical approach are suggested.
