QUALIDADE FISIOLÓGICA E SANITÁRIA DE SEMENTES DE AMENDOIM (Arachis hypogaea L.) ARMAZENADAS

2001
This work has been conducted to evaluate the physiological and sanitary quality of the stored peanut seeds on different treatments (treated seeds with fungicide PCNB 75% and not treated seeds) and packages (paper and metallic recipient) by three periods of time (0, 6 and 12 months) in dry chamber (controlled temperature of 20o C and air relative humidity of 65%). The used statistic delineation was the one that was completely done by chance in factorial scheme 2x2x3, repeated four times. It was concluded in this work that: a) the treated seeds with fungicide have a bigger percentage of germination, vigor and sanity than the stored seeds without fungic treatment; b) the treated seeds, with fungicide and without it, maintained their humidity rate near the equilibrium humidity rate, when they were conditioned in the two used packages; c) in the metallic recipient the uniformity of the seeds humidity tenor was maintained during all the storage; d) at the precocious oldness test, the peanuts seeds which were treated with fungicide maintained their vigor when they were conditioned in any tested packages; e) There was no significant difference in the mycoflora and in the vigor (emergency speed index) of the peanut seeds when these ones were stored on paper packages and on metallic recipient.
