Neiontové tenzidy jako produkty oxyethylenace glycerolu - LC/MS analýza a potenciometrické titrace

This contribution presents a preliminary study of new types of nonionic surfactants prepared by oxyethylenation of glycerol. Samples were subjected to LC/MS analysis allowing the determination of mean molar masses and average number of oxyethylene units in the molecule. In the presence of excess barium ions which can form complex compounds with sufficiently long oxyethylene chains, they were potentiometrically titrated against sodium tetraphenylborate using ion-selective coated-wire electrodes. It has been shown that the determination is only feasible for two of these surfactants studied.
