Study on the application of ultra-capacitor in a new starting system of automobile engine

In order to improve the performance of auto start-up and the working conditions of batteries,this paper proposes a new model of motor starting system structure with the ultra-capacitance blended battery,and the parameter matching of this structure is researched.A petrol engine with a capacity of 1.8 L is taken for an example,and the parameters of the system are designed and calculated.An experiment is made to compare with two starting systems.The experimental results indicate that the new starting system can improve the performance of auto start-up and increase the life of the storage battery.
