A New Sample Pretreatment Technique:Liquid-Phase Microextraction

A novel sample pretreatment termed liquid-phase microextraction (LPME) is reviewed in this paper, including a comparison of this method with solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and traditional liquid-liquid extraction (LLE). Furthermore, the extraction principles, most important parameters for method optimization and application are also discussed.
