Also, to know what practices related to evaluation and teaching planning and design they apply in their work with students. 9 hour-long interviews have been conducted with the teachers of a normal school, then the responses have been transcribed and analyzed using the WebQDA software. The results show that teachers in general perceive the complexity of the evaluation task and use diverse instruments (rubrics, portfolios, written tests) and use the evaluation to improve the teaching task. In addition, they point out as challenges for the future the updating of teaching and innovation, as well as training for professional and personal development. In conclusion, it is necessary to resort to training and create beneficial conditions so that the teachers of the normal schools are up to date both in the evaluation techniques and in the tasks of teacher training and professional development.
