Varietal resistance breaking ability and insecticide resistance developing ability of BPH- Is there any relation between the two?

The most important practical problems faced by everyone concerned with regard to BPH management are its extraordinary ability to develop insecticide resistance and also its ability to overcome the barrier of resistant varieties.
