According to the method, a simulation signal provided by the alarm simulator is controlled by the automatic detection controller to simulate phenomena of smoke, temperature rise, light and the like produced during a fire disaster and simulate manual alarm, so that the alarm function of the alarm device is detected; and whether the linkage control device can receive a linkage control command, output a qualified driving signal, correctly receive a feedback signal and transmit to the alarm and linkage controller is detected through the controlled equipment simulator, a decision is made and a result is output. According to the device and the method, automatic simulation detection of basic functions of the alarm and linkage controller and each input and output component of the conventional fire detection alarm system can be performed.
