Secondary hazards during ultra-short pulsed laser applications
2003
With the increasing number of ultra-short pulsed laser systems in laboratories, and the threshold to first industrial applications, attention has to be paid to safety concerning this special laser technology. Apart from the primary hazards caused by the laser beam, secondary hazards also need to be investigated and, if necessary, safety measures have to be taken. With the increasing number of ultra-short pulsed laser systems in laboratories, and the threshold to first industrial applications, attention has to be paid to safety concerning this special laser technology.
