Leptosprial lipopolysaccharides (LPSs) extracted from Leptospira interrogans serovar copenhageni virulent strain Shibaura, serovar canicola virulent strain Moulton, and serovar hebdomadis strain Hebdomadis, were tested for their ability to induce platelet aggregation and/or lysis in rabbit platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
