Research on Bandwidth Reduction Method in Distributed Parallel Rendering System

This paper uses edge collapse method with discrete curvature error metric to construct multi-resolution models,simplified models are provided to view-dependent simplification method to deal with,and implement it with a conventional distributed parallel rendering system;While this paper uses the algorithm called geometry tracking that avoids the redundant geometry transmission by indexing geometry data,alleviating network bandwidth bottleneck.
