Effect of boron and hafnium on the corrosion resistance of high-temperature nickel alloys

1992
Introduction of 0.1% B and 1% Hf into low-carbon corrosion-resistant nickel alloys makes it possible to increase their resistance to high-temperature salt corrosion. In this case, it becomes possible to increase the heat resistance of the alloys while maintaining the high corrosion resistance as a result of the increase in the titanium and aluminum content.
