2020
The Human Immunodeficiency Virus takes more lives every day in the world and in Cuba, despite the studies carried out, a great increase in this disease is estimated without achieving a different reality for humanity. This study was carried out with the aim of reducing the incidence of new infections by introducing a strategy to promote guiding behaviors in health prevention. A descriptive development investigation was carried out, culminating in the design of an instrument and workshop for training basic health teams at the Bayamo Oeste Polyclinic. As a result, a Workshop was designed for the Basic Work Teams of the Bayamo Oeste Polyclinic, with five topics mainly aimed at the work of the family doctor and nurse such as: regulations and resolutions of postgraduate education in Cuba; Family Physician and Nurse Program; overview of the HIV / AIDS program in Cuba and strategies of the Granma province; training of promoters and comprehensive care for people with HIV / AIDS. It concluded with the workshop for the basic health teams as an organizational form of professional improvement, according to expert criteria, contributing a fundamental role in the preparation of professionals in this area, to carry out actions of diagnosis, prevention, health promotion and comprehensive medical care for HIV / AIDS infection in the community.
