Fabrication and performance of photovoltaic devices using organic materials
2001
Photovoltaic devices, both Schottky-type and pn- heterojunction devices, using several novel organic materials were fabricated and their performance examined. The materials studied include electrochemically doped non- conjugated polymers containing pendant (pi) -electron systems, oligothiophenes with well-defined structures, titanyl phthalocyanine, and amorphous molecular materials. Structure-property relationship and the effect of the materials' morphology on the performance are discussed.© (2001) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
