Model of the permanent magnet wiggler for accelerator Petra III

Abstract The article describes a model of permanent magnet wiggler (PMWM) to reduce the emittance of accelerator Petra III. The PMWM model is one wiggler period (the period λ =0.2 m; the distance between the poles is 0.024 m and the maximal magnitude of magnetic field B is 1.5 T). BINP SB RAS have developed and manufactured a system to measure magnetic moment of permanent magnets (PMs) with accuracy ⩽5×10 −4 with PMs ⩽0.09 m in size.
