Modeling Automatic Regulation Devices of Temperature in Electrical Resistance Furnaces Powered by Complex Waveform Current in Matlab Simulink

2019
Application of a complex waveform current (CWC) with constant component or without it allows to get a positive power and technological effects in Electrotechnology. The development of modern automatic control systems (ACS) for an electric resistance furnace of direct and indirect heating with dark and light radiators power by CWC necessitates introducing of an additional frequency control channel. The automatic control methods of the frequency spectrum and supply voltage amplitude were developed. The purpose of this work is the mathematical modeling of the developing microcontroller devices using MATLAB mathematical system to verify the correctness of logic circuits and identify the risk of failure in them. The method using for the research of dynamic systems is a method of simulation. As software tools for mathematical modeling, we used packages of visual simulation Simulink and event simulation Stateflow, based on the theory of finite state machines. This paper presents the simulation results of automatic control devices using two control channels: the frequency spectrum and the current amplitude in electric resistance furnaces to control the heating mode (temperature mode) in MATLAB Simmulink.
