A practical method of binomial reliability assessment

Abstract It is explained that ξ-minimax estimators exist for the binomial family. Two ξ-minimax estimators of binomial reliability are derived whose performances and regions of superiority are discussed. Two numerical examples are presented. The estimators are admissible in the usual sense.
