Identification of constitutive relations on the basis of the results of technological experiments

A general technique is proposed to construct a solution of inverse problems of the identification of constitutive relations on the basis of the results of technological experiments. The basic distinctive feature of this technique is that it involves the development of simplified mathematical models of technological forming processes. These models are utilized for determining material constants on the basis of the results of experiments that are performed directly on the technological equipment. The proposes technique is implemented for the case of superplastic forming of cylindrical and spherical shells from sheet blanks of titanium alloy VT6s (an analogue of Ti-6AI-4V).
