Estrés como factor de riesgo de gastritis crónica en estudiantes de la Carrera de Enfermería, UNL, 2018

As time goes on the stress is becoming a significant health problem in most areas within the academic field there are several stressful situations causing health implications due to the change and demands of university life. The objective of this research is to identify academic stress as a risk factor for chronic gastritis in the students of the Facultad de la Salud Humana, Nursing career of the Universidad Nacional de Loja. Through the application of the respective instrument significant results were obtained, in which a significant knowledge of stress is determined in the participants, around the presence of stress is given in many frequency by accomplishment of a project with 68.7 %, academic overload by 54.8%, conducting examinations with 49.4 %, lack of time with 48.2% and for exposure with 40.4%, as for the physiological manifestations of gastritis, 69.9% corresponds to heartburn, pain with 65.1%, with 50.65% lack of appetite, with 36.1% nausea and diarrhea with 21.7%. With this and with the established relationship between the frequency of stress for academic situations in front of manifestations of gastritis present in the students, it is concluded that a greater exposition to these stressors causes a greater presence of manifestations of gastritis, thus, the presence of gastritis itself. In the long term, it could become chronic. Key words: Stress, risk factor´s, gastritis.
