Objective : Evaluate the diagnostic and therapeutic management of penile fracture in our practice and proceeded in literature review. Materials and methods: This is a retrospective study regarding clinical data of three penile fracture patients who have been admitted in urology service of CHU Gabriel Toure from September 2011 to October 2011. The following parameters such as age, delay of effective treatment, causing mechanism, symptoms installation mode, the diagnosis and treatment modalities were analyzed. Results: Mean age: 26 years old. The diagnosis have been based on anamnesis, physical examination and ultrasonographic examination results .Early surgical management has confirmed penile cavernosum disruption and allowed tunical wound repair in all cases. Any post operatory short term complication occurred. Conclusion: It’s important to inform on the risk of penile fracture when rolling over in bed on erected penile. The diagnosis of penile fracture remains clinic. Immediate surgical management is necessary for good functional result. Key words : diagnosis; treatment; penile fracture; corpus cavernosum
