Tu2099 Functional Dyspepsia Is Not Responsive to Antibiotic Treatment: A Randomized, Placebo-Controlled Trial

2013
G A A b st ra ct s H. pylori shortened the t1/2, namely accelerated gastric emptying as our previous report (Gastroenterology 140:189-198, 2011). In db/db mouse, delayed gastric emptying was observed 27% of them. Although the levels of blood glucose and body weight were not significantly different, the expression of nNOS in the gastric antrumwas remarkably decreased in db/db mouse with delayed gastric emptying compared with its control. In ApoE knockout mouse which is known to decrease the expression of nNOS in stomach, the gastric emptying was also delayed compared with its control. Conclusion. The measurement of gastric emptying using 13C-acetic acid was non-invasive and reliable to evaluate gastric emptying disorders. Its application might be good tool for evaluating the drug efficacy.
