WDM-SCM PON architecture incorporating a virtually passive CWDM uplink concentrator

We propose a WDM-SCM PON incorporating a novel virtually-passive CWDM uplink concentrator and low speed components. The concept is demonstrated using 2 simultaneous 1 Gb/s SCM channels transmitting over 25 km with low power penalty.
