The speed of gearbox varies with the voltage and the load,and without the tachometer Time Domain Averaging is not available in processing the speed fluctuation vibration signal.To solve the problem,a new algorithm of Time Domain Averaging for the Fluctuant-Period signal is proposed in this paper.Though the frequency domain estimating,the real length for the segment of signal,which is relevant to recursively every cycle,can be obtained.By resampling the segments,the fluctuant-period signal can be turned into period signal.The new method can suppress the phase error accumulation effectiveness when using for processing the Fluctuant-Period vibration signal without tachometer.Simulation and experiment results have shown that the new algorithm is an excellent method for extracting periodic signal from speed fluctuation signal.
