Characterization of PXI-Based Generators for Impedance Measurement Setups

This paper describes the comparison of properties of three commercially available multiphase digital ac voltage sources made as PXI modules. The research concerned their two-phase configuration for use in impedance bridges. Considering the assumed field of application, the most important parameters like the stability of amplitude ratio and phase difference as well as the total harmonic distortion and the spurious-free dynamic range was examined.
