The Law of Outer Space
1959
The Soviet author somewhat repetitiously discusses the concepts of air space and national sovereignty in the space age. He summarizes the opinions of a number of Western authorities on international law and notes that most of them agree with the Soviet view that state sovereignty does not extend to outer space. Certain official Soviet views and proposals concerning airspace violations, state security and the exploration of space are presented.
