QoS routing protocol of mobile Ad Hoc network based on power management

Realizing QoS routing is a key point to guarantee effective transportation of multimedia service in mobile Ad Hoc network.However, few QoS routing protocol considers the issue of energy conversation.Hence, a QoS routing protocol based on power mana-gement is proposed.Its power management mechanism introduced idea of cross-layer design and achieved low energy consumption through transitions between power-save mode and active mode of mobile nodes triggered by communication events and timer.Simulation results show that such protocol remarkably increases the life-span of network and has high performance.
