An Empirical Analysis of Employment Absorptive Capacity of Jiangsu Provincial Service Sectors

Financial crisis by the US subprime crisis triggered caused economic recession, consumer resistance and higher unemployment. To effectively increase the employment, the improvement of industrial structure is more important than the economic growth rate. The paper gives an empirical analysis of the three industries in Jiangsu Province on employment absorptive capacity to prove that the development of services will promote employment growth, and different sub-sectors within the service sector has made a more significant contribution to employment, which specified the development path of the service sector in the issue of solving the problem of employment in Jiangsu Province.
