Archaeomys-Arten (Theridomorpha, Rodentia) des oberoligozänen stratigraphischen referenz-Niveaus Boningen (Schweiz)

1992
Upper and lower dicidous teeth (D 4 / 4 ) have been found in the Upper Oligocene sites of roughly the same age at Ehrenstein 7, Wynau 1 and Burgmagerbein 1 with a morphology differing considerably from that which had been known up to now from Archeaomys species from this stratigraphic level. These primitive decidous teeth, which are among the smallest from the respective localities where they were found, diplay a Synkline III capable of preservation up to the terminal stages of wear at D 4 , while there are two Y-shaped distally located anticlinides at D 4
