Attention is given to such topics as the CVD silicon nitride coating of cemented carbide inserts; coatings for high-temperature corrosion in aircraft and industrial gas turbine engines; thin-film coatings for space electrical power system applications; and the stability of laser-induced retained austenite in ductile iron.
