Observation on development of haemocytes in Boleophthalmus pectinirostris

The blood, kidney and spleen of Boleophthalmeus pectinirostris were observed on stained smears. The results show that the development of B .pectinirostris haemocytes experiences 3 periods, which are primitive stage, immature stage and mature stage.The mother haemoblasts complete a process of maturation when flowing from the he matopoietic organs into the peripheral blood vessels.The morphological characters of the crythrocyte, neutrophil, lymphocyte and monocyte of B .pectinirostris are described at different development Stages.
