Complications Following Operation of Herniated Lumbar Discs

The aim of this study is to review the question of compications following operation of lumbar discs. To clarify this question 1645 operations for herniated lumbar discs performed in the Neurosurgical Clinic of the University of Giessen during the years 1960 –1970 were analyzed.
