Pyelosinus extravasation in the acute renal colic patient
1981
A 56-year-old man developed signs and symptoms of acute left ureteral colic three hours prior to admission. On evaluation, he was found to have IVP dye and urine extravasation retroperitoneally. Our patient recovered uneventfully with resolution of the symptoms occurring on abatement of the obstruction.
