Two-Photon Near-Infrared Cancer Imaging

We present a way of optical detection of malignant cancer cell colonies by using multi-wavelength two-photon excited fluorescence from environmentally sensitive Styryl-9M dye, allowing distinguishing between samples containing no cells, normal cells and cancer cells.
