Switching between applications in a graphical operating system

It can be provided in an operating system, a method for switching between applications. The method may include providing at least two active applications on the operating system and providing a first list of related with the first active application actions via a first interface to a management unit for switching between applications and providing a second list of the comprise the second active application in relation standing actions via a second interface to the management unit for switching between applications. Additionally, the method may further include selecting an active application from the at least two active applications together with selecting a selected one of the first list of actions action for a first application or a second action for the second list for a second application using a graphical user interface respectively.
