Vulnerability Assessment Model for Urban Buried Natural Gas Pipeline System and Its Application

Vulnerability assessment is a new system risk assessment method with the advantages of possessing mature theory,comprehensive index and reliable result.Based on the analysis of the risks of natural gas pipeline system,a vulnerability assessment index system for urban natural gas pipeline system is constructed.According to the value-assigning characteristic of the indexes,fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to establish the vulnerability assessment mathematical model,so as to fulfill calculating the pipeline system's vulnerability and defining its degree.With a certain gas pipeline system in Beijing as an example,a vulnerability assessment was conducted by using the model to verify its feasibility.
