The present comparison and contrast of Okonkwo and Macbeth is based on, introduction of Okonkwo and Macbeth, age of protagonist, manliness, and the biggest sin committed, ID and superego effects, conflicts, disaster, glimpses of Oedipus complex in Okonkwo and Macbeth. Fear, insomnia, same like tragic ending of stories are factors discussed in this. The author attempts to highlight the similarities as well the grounds which make Macbeth and Okonkwo different from each other.
