Control strategy for a zone- for the heating, ventilating and climate control system of a vehicle

The invention relates to a climate control system of a vehicle and a method for controlling the climate control system in order to reduce the energy consumption of the vehicle and to increase the comfort of the occupants. The climate control system includes a main HVAC system for air-conditioning which is derived in a passenger compartment of the vehicle of a liquid, an additional HVAC system for conditioning a localized liquid of at least one HVAC zone of the passenger compartment, a seating system and a HVAC control unit. The HVAC control unit controls the main HVAC system, the HVAC system and additional seating system based on at least one parameter and state relating to the vehicle at least one electric power consumption and the comfort of the occupant.
