Investigation and Evaluation of Antibacterial Use Density and Intervention Measures in a Second Level Hospital

2013
OBJECTIVE:To analyze the use and trend of antibacterial in a second level hospital, and to provide reference for the use of antibacterical in primany medical health institution.METHODS:By retrospective study, all data of antibacterial used in hospitalized patients from 2006 to 2011 were collected before intervention to calculate total dosage of antibacterial. The antibacterial use density(AUD)was calculated and analyzed by DDD.RESULTS:After intervention, the AUD of inpatients in the hospital was dale, cltihnee dt hfirrodm g e9n0e.0ra8t iDonD cDesp(/ha1l0o0s ppoerrisnosn ws·e dr)e mino 2st0 0fr6e qtou e3n5tl.y1 9u sDeDd,Dsf(o/ll1o0w0e pde brsyo nfls·u odr)oqinu in2o0l1o1n.e As,ccpoerndiicnigll itnos tahned A tUheD f iorsf t agnetinbearcatteiorincephalosporins.Top 10 types of antibacterial in the list of amount were cephalosporins, quinolones, penicillins and nitroimidazoles.CONCLUSIONS:The AUD of the hospital is decreasing and lower than national average level, which reveals that AUD of inpatients could be decreased effectively by appropriate intervention, and be benefit to the rational use of antibacterial.
